Never use the water to clean the stainless steel.

Normally water is the first option for cleaning work, it is convenient but it is not good for stainless steel. The stainless steel surface may look good during cleaning, but after it will leave the water marks on it, more obviously on the mirror surface, then you need to clean the water marks again. It is like using the water to clean the sink and table in kitchen, you can never get it as clean as before, that’s why they make it brushed other than glossy.

– Use the soft dry cloth, this is the most convenient and easiest way to clean the stainless steel. The soft cloth can clean the dust or rust on surface, try to clean them several more times, the cleaning ffect would be much better.

– Use the organic solvent.

If there is a lot of dust or greasy dirt on stainless steel, the organic solvent is helpful for cleaning. The normal material is the alcohol and gas, get some alcohol on the cloth to clean the surface, the dust or oil can be removed effectively. Be careful that not all the organic solvent is good as it may remove the plating layer on stainless steel. Go buy the specialized cleaning solvent if you are not sure if it is working or get some tests first before you go.




– Use the powder.

This is kind of the secret in the stainless industry. Any kind of powder would be helpful, the lime powder, the talc or even the flour and cornstarch is good for cleaning. The theory is the tiny powder structure would go to every small place on the surface and take the dust away, the more times you clean, the better the effect.
